Item Specs:
1. Start by carefully removing the barrels from the packing. Be especially careful not to dislodge the wires from the glue gob inside the barrel.
2. Locate ideal spots on your layout or diorama to place the barrels.
3. Drill a 1/8" hole in the layout surface to feed the wires through.
4. Attach the barrel wires to a suitable power source. (8-18v)
* Pair the two barrel wires to the two DC power source wires and apply power. If the barrel does not light, reverse the wires and again apply power. The barrel should illuminate. With DC, polarity must be correct for LEDs to function.
5. Apply power to all the barrels to check functionality. If they all work, you can now decide whether to secure the barrels to the surface with glue. If a barrel is not functioning, check for a loose connection. The barrels can be bench tested also using a 9v battery (polarity must be correct when using the battery test method.)
